"Philippians 3:7-9: 7 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith."

Pastor Koelpin

I received my Bachelor of Arts from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in 2005 and my Master of Divinity from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI in 2009. After the seminary, I served Abiding Faith Lutheran Church near Houston, Texas, for nearly 8 years. I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, but spent most of my childhood growing up in a suburb near Milwaukee. I attended Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI, where I met Jennifer, my high-school sweetheart and future wife. Along with ministry, my greatest joy is my family.

The LORD has blessed us with seven children: Christian, Teagan, Isaiah, Gideon, Shiloh, Phoebe and Eden.
