I received my Bachelor’s degree in Education from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1991. I married Mark in 1992 and had five treasured children. While raising them and supporting my husband’s ministry, I held many part-time positions, always privileged to serve God’s people, in schools, dormitories, offices, in-home day cares, and a thrift store which supported a Lutheran high school. In my teaching roles, I taught Word Processing, Government, Algebra, Geometry and Accounting in Lutheran high schools in WI, MI, and SD and was a kindergarten aide for 5 years at St. Martin’s Lutheran School in Watertown, SD. I provided after school care for Precious Lambs Preschool from 2018 – 2020, and I am currently teaching Bible stories as the Monkey Junction coordinator. I have been a substitute teacher, Sunday school teacher, Lutheran Girl Pioneer leader, volleyball, basketball, and track coach, piano teacher, and math tutor. My interests include reading, running, solving logic puzzles, learning languages (Latin, German, Sign Language and Spanish), playing piano, and writing music.
I love spending time with children and am excited to teach kids how to express themselves in a new way through Spanish and to share with them how amazing God’s gift of language is!
